On June 30, Rev. Al Sharpton hosted a virtual leadership town hall alongside CBC Health Braintrust Chair Rep. Robin Kelly and leaders in the Black community to discuss the pressing issues perpetuating racial disparities in healthcare.

 

During the town hall, Rev. Sharpton announced the launch of our new campaign, the Healthcare Equality Network, a group formed by prominent leaders in the Black community who are committed to tackling health disparities head-on and supporting federal, state and local efforts to increase Black access to quality care.
